If my project or presentation made you feel something, anything, other than bored - scared, angry, confused, happy, loving, sad, curious, shocked, amazed, anything - then I would call it a success. You were alive and in the room too then.
Learning is more than memorizing and regurgitating, checking off little boxes, behaving. Healing is more than cure, "fix", (making our bodies behave). Growth happens if we are willing, and show up.
We shouldn't starve to death in the midst of plenty. Opportunities are all around us always. Fortunately the "M" & "D" gives us such amazing access, to be stretched, called out, to meet and be met, to be an intimate and important companion, to discover, wonder, grow with others, not alone. To be a part of conversations and questions with meaning, so close to life. It is an honor and a privilege.
